Welcome to Zagreb!

Zagreb is made for walking. Wander through Upper Towns’s neighboorhoods of Gradec and Kaptol and see many landmarks and churches from earlier centuries of Zagreb’s history. Continue to Lower Town and walk among mash-up of secessionist, neobaroque and art deco buildings and see its many museums. But don’t forget to stop and take a break among fountains and trees in one of Zagreb’s many parks. Afterwards, do as the locals do and head to a cafe. Having coffee in one of Zagreb’s outdoor cafes is a must, involving hours of people-watching, gossiping and soul-searching, unhurried by waiters. To experiance the city’s vibrant cafe culture, grab a table on the cobbled car-free Tkalčićeva, with its endless streetside cafes, or one of the pavement tables on Cvjetni Trg or Bogovićeva.

Zagreb is a safe city whose doors are always open, a city with a tumultuous history teeming with interesting personalities, a city that warmly invites all those who wish to get to know it, and a city that will,no matter when you come, surely fulfill all your expectations.

See you in Zagreb!
